We know that being active is good for our well-being; and that living a sedentary life is very unhealthy. However, finding the motivation to exercise – especially if we’re used to being inactive – can be a major challenge. It takes a lot more than willpower to maintain an active lifestyle that is sufficient to make a difference to our physical, mental and emotional health.
Keeping fit and healthy means making sure that we are exercising a certain number of hours each week. Finding that time and the motivation to stick to the routine in the moment is the challenge.
The benefit of using FasterEFT to improve your motivation to exercise is that once you have used the technique to transform the subconscious record that relates to physical exercise, you will naturally and automatically find the motivation to exercise without even trying. It will become as automatic and natural to you as your current resistance to exercise is.
In order to improve this motivation, follow these steps:
Think about exercising right now. How do you feel about it? What do you feel, where in your body do you feel it, and how strong is that feeling? Just notice it. Notice the resistance and anything else you feel.
Use the FasterEFT technique to address those feelings. Keep tapping until the feelings have changed to positive.
As memories and other thoughts come to you, tap on those as well.
When it is time for your exercise routine, if you feel any resistance (which could be in the form of feeling tired, or reluctant) use the FasterEFT technique to tap those feelings out until they flip to positive.
Being physically active is a natural state, and our bodies want to be physically active. Lack of motivation to exercise is an obstacle to what we naturally want (even though it doesn’t feel like it). Once you remove those obstacles using the FasterEFT technique, you will find that you naturally feel motivated to be active, and maintaining a healthy exercise routine will be much easier for you.
