Anger can be a destructive and dangerous force when it is out of control. People with anger issues find they are unable to prevent themselves from reacting with anger even when they try to consciously change their response. The good news is that there is no need to try to “manage” your anger – there is an effective way to resolve the cause of your anger issues quickly and for good!
What Are Anger Issues?
We all feel angry at some time. Anger is a natural human emotion that is healthy as long as it is short-lived and is not out of control. Anger becomes a problem when:
* it is the go-to response whenever there are challenges
* it is destructive – causing behavior that is damaging and hurtful to the one feeling the anger and others
* the person feeling the anger is unable or unwilling to change their emotional state by changing their focus
* the person feeling the anger is unable to control it
* anger is expressed out of proportion
* the person reacts with anger inappropriately
There are many other repercussions of anger issues; and the effects of anger will vary from person to person and in different circumstances. The key to getting rid of anger issues quickly and permanently is FasterEFT. Using the FasterEFT technique goes to the root cause and changes the record the subconscious is referencing which is resulting in the response of anger.
How to Get Rid of Anger Issues using FasterEFT
Think of something that you usually react to with anger. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and go to a time you felt that anger. See what you saw, hear what you heard, feel what you felt. If you have an early memory of the same feeling of anger, go to that one. Feel the anger, notice how you know you are angry – what does it feel like, where in your body do you feel it, and how strong is it?
Use two fingers to gently tap the following meridian points while focusing on the feeling of your fingertips on your skin and saying the phrases. (If this seems absurd to you, read how and why it works here: The REAL Cause of All Your Problems. And then just try it – what have you got to lose?)
– Between your eyebrows – “I release and let it go”
– Beside your eye – “Let it go”
– Under your eye – “It’s safe to let it go”
– Just below your collarbone – “Just let it all go”
Grab your wrist, take a deep breath, blow it out, say “Peace” and go to a peaceful memory. Feel the feeling of that peaceful memory for a moment.
Go back to your anger, and notice what’s different. Has it changed, is it less intense, has the position of the sensation in your body moved? Just notice what is left. Notice what anger is still left, how it feels, where it is and how strong it is.
Repeat Steps Two through Four until you can no longer feel the anger. If you are remembering a memory, keep repeating these steps until the memory flips. Keep going until you feel good.
As you are going through the process you may find that other thoughts and memories come to you – this is your subconscious referencing records that it has connected to the anger you are addressing. It is important you notice these – notice how they feel, notice what you see and hear – and then tap again until they have completely changed.
Do not stop until the anger has completely gone and any related memories have completely flipped. Reducing it is not enough – that’s like reducing the number of weeds in your garden, or cutting them down. As long as you leave anything there, it will grow again. It is only once you cannot find the anger again and your memories are positive that you have fully rewired that connection in your brain.
