Loneliness may seem to be caused by circumstances – you may find yourself in a situation where you are unable to keep in touch with those you love; you may find that you have nothing in common with those around you; you may find that there is “nothing going on” where you live – the truth is: Loneliness is a state of mind.
Some feel lonely despite being surrounded by friendly, loving people.
Others feel no trace of loneliness even though they are physically isolated from others.
It is only possible to feel lonely if you choose to believe that your state of mind is dependent on the people and world around you.
It is impossible to feel lonely when you realize your own power to choose how you feel and how you live.
What Causes Loneliness
Although you may think to be alone causes loneliness, it is the perception that causes the feeling of loneliness.
The one and only cause is perception.
Choosing the perception of loneliness – recognizing your circumstances as beyond your control and seeing yourself as alone and unloved – will cause significant changes in your physiological state.
This means that not only will you feel lonely; your ability to notice and think of opportunities to connect with others will be affected.
The activity in the prefrontal cortex of your brain – where your cognitive thinking happens – is reduced, affecting your ability to solve problems and see solutions.
Choosing to change your perception and accept the fact that you have power and control over how you see things – and therefore how you feel and respond – will enable you to not only feel better but also to notice and take advantage of opportunities to connect with others.
Your perception is the only cause of your emotional state.
Two people can be in exactly the same circumstances, and one may feel lonely while the other feels no loneliness at all.
Change your perception and you change the way you feel – which changes your ability to connect with others.
How to Change Your Perception
Your perception is caused by the records held in your subconscious – the beliefs you have accumulated through your life experience from birth.
Your conscious mind will be completely unaware of most of these beliefs; but they determine who you are, how you react and respond to the people and world around you, and the way you see the world and your life experiences.
In order to change your perception, and free yourself from loneliness you will need to access and change these original records and beliefs.
Using FasterEFT you can achieve these changes quickly and effectively.
You don’t need to know what those subconscious beliefs are; you only need to go through the process, and your subconscious will bring up the relevant memories for you to change.
FasterEFT will help you to change the memories that are providing your subconscious with the “evidence” that you are alone and unloved.
When you change those memories, you will change your references, and that will allow you to see the truth – that you are never alone and you certainly are loved, even if you don’t know it yet.
