In our continued quest to share the very best stories with blog readers and newcomers, this week’s feature was self-written by the newly Certified Level 4 eutaptics® FasterEFT™ Practitioner, Kowie Swart. Here’s what she has to say:
“My name is Kowie Swart. I live in South Africa, a beautiful and diverse country. I have been a Registered Nurse For 42 Years. In that time, I have sat with the dying, held newborn babies in my arms, comforted the crying and I stood with the shocked and the overwhelmed. For most of these 42 years, I worked in the trauma unit.
People, and caring for people, have always been my passion. I was introduced to eutaptics® FasterEFT™by a good friend, Morne Lubbe. I was getting ready to leave nursing and found it very stressful.
In 2006 I was in an emergency landing of a small aircraft. As you might not know, 93% of emergency landings are fatal. I was preparing to die. For three long hours, I was sending messages to my loved ones and doing my will. We survived but after some time, I was diagnosed with PTSD and placed on antidepressants.
I was confronted with trauma every day at work. People who shot themselves, severe burn wounds, drownings, or near-drownings. Trauma had become my normal.
I went online and watched three of Robert Gene Smith’s videos. I was hooked and that was the start of an amazing new career. At each level, you have to do 10 hours of work on yourself. This is done with a level 4 practitioner. This was like magic. In one single session, I could release the whole trauma around the emergency landing, I could stop the antidepressants and from then on it was forward all the time.
It was my dream to complete level 4 and become an upper-level practitioner. I did it. The system is amazing and for the last two years, I have worked with hundreds of people. All the studies that I have done over the last three and a half years were absolutely life-changing. As a Practitioner and life coach, I would love to assist and encourage you in finding a path towards healing and a better you.“
