I’m Tim and new to FEFT.
i intend to work helping heroin addicts quit.
Anyone have experience to share working with active addicts?

I had not seen this video before.
I especially interested in active heroin addicts,
i imagine most of the people i’ll work with will either be high or feeling dope sick.

With reference to your video 949.
Question. I was a little confused. Did the young lady relapse, that is why she had about 12 sessions? or was she at Habitat for a very long period.April 7, 2016 at 1:15 pm #68931

Most residents are at Habilitat for an extended period. I think the shortest duration is greater than 24 months (don’t quote me) – several were there for 3 or 4 years (and that might be the average stay – I can’t recall.) Robert (and team) go twice a year for two weeks. During that time, we try to get at least one session with every resident. They are encouraged to take advantage of the practitioners being there. It would be easy to get 12 sessions.
